Our outing was to Lauriston Castle Gardens, and there was a very good turn out on the day, which proved to be in beautiful sunny weather, despite rain en route to the venue. Here is a selection of pictures taken there.

Athol was pleased with this shot where the flower appears to be free floating. Sandra also liked it, being like a painting, abstract.
This picture from Bob was chosen by Sonia as a picture that had everything - attractive sky, framing, a splash of colour, diagonal lines and reflections.

Les particularly liked this shot from Brian, with the red leaves framing the bridge drawing the eye into the centre of the picture.
Brian himself was pleased with this abstract picture, deliberately out of focus, leaving just the dandelion in focus.

Mary chose this from Fiona's selection. She commented on the rich blue and yellow colours, and the foreground out of focus.
Fiona herself was so pleased with her successful bird picture, even to the white light in the eye.
