Alister thought Buckfast Abbey was beautiful and was pleased with this picture.

Sandra chose Alister's picture of the inside of Buckfast Abbey, commenting in particular on the roof.

Irene particuarly liked this from Athol's pictures - the sharp reflection and the contrast on the building with the upper clean lines versus the colourful reflected building below.
photography
Athol chose this blend of past and present.

GL

Gillian chose her picture of the hotel in St James Quarter, saying it had been a difficult shot to take. It was generally acknowledged to be difficult and we thought it an excellent picture.
photography
Sue chose Gillian's detail from the building. She liked the curves, the light and the modern architecture. The splash of yellow added to the effect.

Both Irene and Alister liked this picture of Queen Mary's Bath House with its sense of history and the quirky architecture.
photography
Overall though Irene chose her Quiet Princes Street with the line leading the eye in and and the way the image reflects a city just emerging from lockdown.

Morag chose this picture from Joe for its simplicity, symmetry and muted colours. Joe called it "Behind the Green Door"!
photography
Joe was pleased with this shot, where the peculiar architecture just caught the sun.
