A topic enjoyed by everyone - all pictures to contain bright colours, the very opposite of monochrome or black and white! If nothing else it made for a cheerful meeting and there were as ever some superb efforts.

We very much liked Alan's Autumn on Lake Como.

Bob T liked the gradual change from flowers in focus to not in focus in Sonia's very bright primroses.
BD

Bob D's choice from his pictures was taken at the top of a mountain in Tignes. He told us it was difficult to take, one factor being the problems with shooting in bright sunlight in snowy conditions.

Sonia liked Bob's two birds, both in focus and apparently looking at the same thing with bright eyes.
BT

Les thought Bob T's picture of the rainbow in Colinton Tunnel was very attractive.

Bob himself was pleased with his night shot, catching the red and amber lights lit with their coloured aura.
IW

Sonia liked Ian's picture of lights, caught quickly with a phone in Dubai Airport. She thought it made an interesting arrangement of colours disappearing off to the right.

Ian's choice was of fascinating holograms picked out from a bigger selection of them.
IH

Ingrid happened upon these colourful chairs converted into flower pots.
