Neil thought this picture from Gillian was beautifully framed in an industrial setting. The angle at which the figure was leaning was the same as the beam to his left.
Gillian herself chose this one for the interesting sky, the diagonals and the position of the lights.

Marthe chose this from Ingrid, saying it clearly showed times gone by, with its old-fashioned colouring. It had a grim feel.

Both Brian and Les liked this bowl of nectarines from Les, with the brightly coloured fruit and its dramatic black background.
Les was also pleased with his "Rolls". He thought the black and white wrapped rolls on the dark grey floor worked well, but regretted not putting the gold roll in the centre. He thought that nevertheless the picture works.
