Both Ingrid and Sonia liked Ingrid's picture of Inverleith Pond. Sonia chose it for the vertical trees reflected in the water balanced by the birds at the left hand side.
Both Morag and Sonia chose this picture from Morag taken in Angus on Christmas Day. Sonia found the picture atmospheric with the snow covered hills. The birds give foreground interest.

Neil and Mary liked Neil's picture taken in Dumfries and Galloway with its line of rocks into the sea.
Mary also liked this busy picture with lots of detail showing the bridge at the Hermitage, Dunkeld.

Both Ruth and Athol admired Ruth's "view from a bedroom window". Athol said it worked at several levels. There was a lovely evening sky. Three points of interest made a triangle - the lit window, the spire and a tree.
Sonia took this landscape on the Bush Estate. Sonia herself, Irene and Frances all chose this picture. Irene and Sonia commented on the framing of the picture and Irene mentioned the spot of red at the centre of the picture.
