Both Sandra and Athol picked Sandra's pendant. Sandra felt it showed lots of detail. Athol commented that the lighting is absolutely ideal. He also thought that an excellent picture could be made even more effective with a darker, perhaps grey, background.
But everyone liked Sandra's seasonal picture of Burns' Night!

These two pictures from Sue were both taken with a phone camera, using an extension lens to take Macro shots. Irene chose this pink flower head, liking the blurred effect in the corner and the shape and colours in the picture.
Sue herself chose this bud of a purple platycodon.

Anne liked the shape of the branches in Sonia's picture of berries. The berries differed in shade and sharpness, depending how far away they were from the camera lens.
Sonia took this one with the camera suspended from the tripod over the necklace placed on a white piece of paper. She was pleased with the technique.

Gillian chose Sonia's flowers taken with a compact camera on a macro setting.
Joe chose this from Irene, saying it was a difficult shot to get.
