Both Alister and Athol himself chose this picture of a red Pillar Box. Athol liked the fact that the shadow filled the space between post box and figure, and thought the lighting good.
Both Phil and Marthe chose Phil's smoker in World's End Close. Marthe felt the picture lends itself to Black and White with the deep shadows. She thought it mournful and moody.

Both Sonia and Frances herself chose the sad little snow people on the path - a pleasing picture.
Sandra liked her "Sunny Spot". It seemed to tell a story - this lonely figure sitting in the sun.

Sue though the man in this picture was more enthusiastic than the dog in going for a "Spring Walk"
Sue called this shot "Where to walk?" Sandra chose this one, which Sue also liked, with the line of parked cars and the path taken up by cyclists.
