Ingrid chose Carina's picture of an acer in full autumn colour, taken from ground level. The colour really stands out.
Carina herself chose this picture, being intrigued by the way the tree nestled into the shape of the stone.

Fiona's own choice was this picture of a Kelpie appearing to look up.
Anne was impressed by Fiona's picture taken during the light show in Edinburgh in August. She liked the bright colours and the building appearing to look up at the lights.

Alister chose this from Gillian's pictures, with the path up and down leading to the sun.
Irene chose this one - she said her eye was led by the path up, the picture being nicely framed, and she felt you wanted to follow the winding path up, to see what was beyond

Gillian herself chose "Sun on the Castle", because she remembered the sun coming out at last after a very wet morning.
Ingrid chose her picture of a clematis, which she thought looked like painted china.
