The pictures are not divided into separate groups. Almost everyone was able to take part in our virtual meeting and we were able to look at the pictures while we were discussing them.

Ann chose Frances's picture of scaffolding
Frances herself chose this picture taken in Singapore. She thought the straight span of the bridge plus the two arched spans made a balanced picture.

Ruth liked Gillian's Big Wheel, because of the colours and the angles. She thought you could almost detect the movement. Also, the autumn leaves caught in the wheel gave texture
Gillian herself liked her picture of Murrayfield. She was pleased with the composition.

Carina chose Ingrid's picture of the back of a clock because the curved shapes made a pleasing composition. The patina on the metal gave an interesting effect.
Ingrid herself chose this one which she thought looked like 3 aliens out of space.

Sue chose Irene's Crane Box, which she thought was a clear picture and good composition
Irene chose Atomium, also taken in Brussels, which had clear shapes and structures.

Joe chose this picture of his own, which he calls "Are you sure you folded the plans properly?". It is a building in Gdansk, and as he says, it just looks wrong!
This picture of a tool used to measure stress was chosen by Athol, who thought it quirky and visually attractive.
