In August we went to Leith to take pictures of buildings there. Everyone, including those who couldn't attend, also took further appropriate pictures over the period. We evaluated the results at our meeting in September. This page and the next has pictures from the Thursday Group. There are also two pages from the Wednesday Group.

Iona: This view from the docks in Leith has been put through an artistic filter. We liked the effect. It would have been interesting to have seen the original.

Janet: The post and chain add to the composition
Leighton straightened this picture of buildings with their reflections, but to crop out the resulting blank areas would have spoiled the picture. We liked the quirky effect.
