This month's project was Macro photography. We realise that our cameras may not be capable of true Macro pictures, but actually provide us with close-ups. We used the macro mode on our cameras, and soon learned that we needed to use a tripod and either a timer or remote control to avoid camera shake. We all enjoyed the learning process.
Butterfly. While on a walking holiday along the Speyside Way the butterfly obligingly landed close-by. Unconcerned it sunned itself until I had had time to select Macro-mode and get close enough to take the photograph. RT
Taken indoors, using a tripod in natural sunlight, macro setting with 2 second timer. SD
