Both Frances and Sonia liked Frances's flower with its many stamens. Frances says it denotes the freshness and clarity of a bright Spring day.
However, Sonia chose this beautifully sharp picture of buds filling the frame.

The brightly coloured berries stretching across the frame caught Sonia's eye, with the spring daffodils poking through.
However both Gillian and Sonia chose as favourite this misty day with the sun showing up the daffodils in a very early sign of Spring.

Sandra chose Ingrid's Iris Reticulata for its beautiful colours and the white markings.
Ingrid herself liked her Pussy Willow.

Sue chose Irene's picture with its soft focus on the gorse, yellow being such a colour of Spring
Both Irene and Sue liked Irene's "Love is in the air" - two pigeons apparently in conversation. Sue said it was so sharply in focus.

Irene found Joe's yellow crocuses cheering.
Joe's favourite of his own was this single bud, a macro shot with the bud highlighted in the sun in perfect focus.
