Martin was pleased with his decaying courgette. It captured the seeds and the strands from the decay.
Mary liked this composition, the colour and shape. Martin explained that this is the Yellow Brain Fungus (the glutinous fruiting body of Tremella mesenterica, a parasitic fungus that feeds on other fungi. Also called Witches Butter).
MD
Mary chose her picture of a Fox Moth caterpillar.
Neil liked this composition which he thought was like a piece of art work.
MP
Morag loved her rose, with all the light and shade.
Sandra chose Morag's picture of jewellery because of the shadows, the shades of the colour and everything so sharp and clear. Morag had taken particular care with lighting.
ND
Neil had joined Wednesday Group for this meeting. Fiona liked the peacock feather, with the light coming from the right.
Neil chose his picture of an eye
RH
Another eye, this time with whiskers. Sue chose this from Ruth's pictures saying it was difficult to get so close to a cat.
Ruth herself chose her Water of Leith in spate, an abstract picture. Sue thought it almost looked like a fur coat.
