This month we had a very interesting topic - playing with light. Our members either loved it or found it challenging, but either way the result was some extremely attractive and unusual pictures. Here is a selection from Wednesday's group.

Anne chose this from her pictures because of the brutalist iron structure but softened by the lights.
Bob admired Anne's silhouette which he thought was an unusual picture. He liked the fact that the singer was slender while his shadow was muscular. He also thought the shot gave a sense of motion.

Fiona chose Bob's "Mist" which she thought atmospheric.
Bob himself liked this reflection of indoor lights against the evening sky
BW
Frances chose Brian's Morning light, Berwick upon Tweed. She thought it a stunning picture in black and white.
Brian himself liked his picture taken at Lindisfarne, with everyone looking out at the castle.

From her own pictures, Fiona selected her shot of forks and their shadows, noting how different in shape the shadows were.
Les thought this one was a really good picture.
FC
Frances chose this delicate picture which she calls "Fragile Light"
Ingrid liked that one too, but also this picture taken using a light box - a dried flower, Calcolaria
SD
Martin chose Sonia's picture taken through the mist at Cromarty. He thought it a different use of light - diffused.
