Neil found Alister's candle interesting because of the colours in the body of the candle.
Alister himself liked his evening view.

Athol was pleased with the simplicity of this shot, beautifully lit by the sun and catching the small wasp so sharply.
Sonia chose this one - the web being so sharp and the sun streaming through the leaves.

The group was unanimous in choosing this from Gillian, because of the colours, the reflections and the light and shade.
Joe and Marjorie were agreed in choosing this unusual picture from Joe. He swung a lamp on a string to give these light patterns. Marjorie loved the effect, which reminded her of an alian spacecraft.

Athol chose Irene's silhouette, which he thought was a simple shot and on topic. He did however suggest that cropping off the bottom third would improve the impact.

Irene found this shot took a bit of juggling and trying not to get blinded by looking into the sun to line up the feather. She liked the light showing delicate shapes.
Ruth and Neil were in agreement over this intriguing picture from Neil. He placed the candle and his camera on a table in front of the TV and connected the output of the camera to the input of the TV.
