Alister and Gillian both chose this picture, a speed boat on the river Dart, because they felt it showed motion very well
Athol particularly liked this image of a couple walking along the pier and Gillian agreed with him. They liked the fact that the people were walking into shot.
AP
Sue liked Athol's bee because of the way it is captured with the wings moving.
Athol himself chose this picture. He pointed out that the green frond had the same shape as the sensuous newt
GL
Gillian chose her own picture of the water of Leith, capturing the moving water.
She had then edited the same picture using Picasa, Focal Zoom Edit. Neil thought this transformed the original, making it into a commercial picture.
IL
Sonia liked Irene's waterfall best. As well as illustrating the movement of the water it was a pleasing composition.
Irene herself liked this one.
MC
Marjorie selected her "pedal power" picture, showing different means of transport.
Morag really liked this picture because the light was so good. She commented that the lady moving on the stairs contrasted with the one standing still on the escalator.
