As well as the Minimal pictures, members sent in a picture of the snow that fell in such abundance during the month.

Sandra chose Marjorie's single rose. She liked the contrast of the red against the white of the vase.
Marjorie liked her own Notelets which was simple and clean with no fuss.
Marthe put a lot of effort into this picture. She took a picture of this orange car and then, using a graphics editing package, selected it in order to put it over a simple two-tone background. Selecting the car was very difficult and the project took some time.
Fiona chose this picture taken at Cramond. She thought it a great composition with the breakwater leading the eye into the picture. Everything leads the eye into the island.
Both Alister and Morag chose this from Alister's pictures, taken at Portobello. A fine composition.
Ruth and Sonia were in agreement on Ruth's discarded apple in squishy mud. Ruth liked the textures as did Sonia. Sonia also said the apple was just in the right position within the picture and the mud had some shine.
Martin chose his own empty seat with abandoned coffee cup. He felt it told a story, something many people have commented on as being a good attribute for a picture.
Fiona liked this solitary duck. She liked the effect of the ripples and the fact that there was hardly any colour apart from the striking duck.
Sue liked Morag's isolated bird with the diagonal lines in the background.
Morag herself chose this little tree with snow arranged interestingly in its branches against the background of fresh snow. She says she just looked out of the window and saw the picture she wanted to take.
