Carina and Les both chose this picture from Les. Carina thought the curvature of the tree trunks provided a strong foundation for the composition, and the light direction highlighted the range of greens in the leaves and the shading of the blues in the sky. She thought this all worked very well.
Ruth chose Sonia's spider's webs on a shrub.

Anne chose this action shot from Martin. She liked the light on the central figure, giving it luminosity. The eye is then drawn on to the other figures in the shot. The picture is telling a story and there is movement and concentration.
Martin told us that he had concentrated on the users of the park during the outing. He chose this one where the child is intent on chasing the ball.
